Drug Paraphernalia found on Manor Park
On Saturday April 26, 2008 police found drug paraphernalia behind 1295 Manor Park. There is a two-part problem on Manor Park. One being that kids are using drugs in our backyards. What they are using is a water bottle with a straw attached as a pipe. If you see this, please call the police right away.
The second problem, there is a vacant house on our street. 1295 Manor Park has been vacant for 16 years this July. Although the owner does the bear minimum to meet city standards, it still is not enough. There have been several incidences where the owner does not care for the property or respect the bordering neighbors. The city has been called many times about this house over several years. I hope the new mayor could help us with this abandoned house.
Please keep a watch out for suspicious behavior in the front and back of our yards. We may need to help Chase Avenue start their block watch.
